There can be a lot of negative voices surrounding us, from people who are critical and judgmental, to that own voice in our head that tries to pull us down. But there are also people who love us, who want the best for us, who believe in us… people that we trust. When you feel like life is dragging you down or you’re having a hard time believing in yourself, those are the people you can rely on to help you back up and motivate you to be better. Those are the people you should keep in your heart
Game Plan: It’s easy to isolate yourself when you aren’t feeling well, but connecting with others is important for wellness. Think of one small way you can connect today: text, call or email a friend or family member, go to school, work, or volunteer, go for a walk and smile or say hi to someone, call a help line to chat, or spend time with a pet. Connecting with another person will help you to feel less alone and refocus on what’s important in life.
