No matter what anyone says, it’s difficult to not care at all about what other people think. Positive responses can make you feel good, and negative responses can make you question yourself and your ability to make decisions. Asking for advice can be helpful, but you should also be confident in your own choices and take advice with a grain of salt. After all, no one knows you better than yourself.
Don’t worry about making the “wrong” decision – at some point you just have to do what feels right to you. If you feel drawn to something and it’s a decision you feel good about, it shouldn’t matter what other people think. Don’t let other people write your story for you.
Game Plan: Think about the reason behind your decision and why it’s right for you. When it’s a decision that will affect your own life, it’s important to focus on what it means to you, not whether other people agree with it.
